Hello kitty ,Urban decay and more

I know I said I would get some photos posted of all the hello kitty things I got from Sephora. I have not had time to do so yet in between  college and work. I will get them done soon as I can! In the mean time I made my first order from  Urban Decay!!! I broke down and bought the Great and Powerful OZ pallets. I had wanted them when they came out but I want to get a good deal on both . As it turns out in the end I still had to pay the full price for them both oh well.  I also got another pallet and lip stain from them. I  have finally come to admit that I collect makeup. I really need to clean out some of my old stuff I have because I have bought a few new things that have some similar colors. Also I have decided that I would buy more pallets and I figured that it would be easier to pack them for travel instead of  trying to pick which one of my eye shadows I would take with me. There is also a smaller risk of losing eye shadows  when they are in a pallet.  I have gotten rid of the Y

Yay, I finally used my Em cosmetics trial size sample.

As the title says I used my Em cosmetics. I used the Life pallet sample. I only used the eye shadow and not the lip color they include. I did not get a picture of me wearing it frankly because I forgot. I will update this post later with pictures of swatches. The eye shadow was nice and it went on with out any problem. It took a few coats to build it up the way I wanted for the look.  I bought these products to try also because I wanted to help support Michelle Phan`s dream.  Over all the products are nice and I am glad I took the chance on them. Also found that they fit inside of E.L.F. cosmetics custom pallets that I got for a dollar each.

Diy Thursday!!

Here is a project I did and forgot to take before pictures. I got this super cute basket like thing with hooks on the bottom that I used to store my jewelry and hair flowers on. I found a over the door system so I no longer use it. I got the great idea to use it for my keys and mail but the first thing was I had to paint it because the distress look did not match my bed room. I had some red paint left over from painting my makeup cabinets. So I sprayed two coats on it. Be sure to let it dry between. Oh if it something you used for stuff before make sure you clean it off. I forgot so I have dust permanently attached to it. After it dryed over night I took this pearlescent simmer and sprayed it all over. No, I still have not got it hung up because I  working on renovate my space. Thanks for reading!

At the moment I still have not open my two sample I purchased from Em cosmetics. The main reason is I don't have  place to store them when I take them out of the package. I was a bit disappointed with the packaging because the paper will eventually get messed up and the little plastic case they came in is not really helpful to me. So I am on the hunt for a pallet to put them in. I really want to use them but I am afraid of losing them cause I don't have a real place to store them the way I would like to. More over, the colors look amazing and I am really looking forward to trying them out. I still looking into possible trying few more products from this line but I am not sure yet. There are so many brands I want to try. Anyways so far Michelle Phan's makeup line is still in the W.I.P section of my makeup. As soon as I get a pallet to put  in I will be testing them.

My first cosplay post

My first cosplay post on my blog yay!!!! Ok, I am sure by now you guys are thinking that this girl needs to stick to one thing but hey I like my random blog!!! Anyways I have been working on few different cosplays at the moment!!! I have been working one Queen Tara from Epic and it will be one in the making. I am wanting to take my time while working on it. While I do not enter my  cosplays in contest I am wanting to get a really nice photo shoot done. Also I am getting my things together for  my trip to Comic Con. while it is not the huge one in San Diego but I am happy that I get to go. It will differently be a challenge with getting every thing ready along with school. All of my cosplays are pretty much things I have in my closet because they all are wearing normal clothing. My cosplay line up is Walking Dead, Doctor Who and Boondock saints. I am not sure what day I am wearing what because that is all up to my friend I am going with.  She invited me so I am going along with her plan

Diy : painting my makeup storage

Image
I was able to get two amazing cabinets for free because my job was throwing them in the trash. They needed a bit of work to go from what they were used for at work to what I am using them for. First I had to remove some of the shelving to make it fit makeup trays and then change the color. Getting the shelves out took some work. I ended up using a tool you used to cut branches off trees so I could break the shelf in have then remove the newly broken one. After I was done I had them in my room for awhile while I figured out what color I wanted. I decided I would paint them red then black wash them. So I got rustolum spray paint and covered it. Then took a mix of black acrylic paint and water and painted it on after letting the red dry for a day. I painted on my paint and water mix then took a rag and wiped most of it off but leaving some. I repeated the black washing a few times before I was happy with it. One of two came out a bit more darker but they both still look amazing.

Impress nails review

Image
I  decided on a whim to by the Impress press on nails. I have heard a lot about them from a beauty guru Grav3yardgirl on YouTube. I decided to try them.  I found them at my  local walmart. I really like how easy they were to put on. The package  says that the nails will last about a week. This review is a slow coming review as I am writing it as I wear them the whole week. So far they are working out amazing. I have been getting lots of complements on them. They look very nature and are very easy to wear. I have reached the end of the week and only two of them have come off. I fixed it by just using some nail glue on them. I would defiantly buy this product again. The only con I have to this product is I did not like the fact that when I pressed them on the glue substance did not become a flush with my real nails but I plan on fix that next st time is just taking the glue substance off and just using nail glue. Thanks for reading <3 Momo Don`t forget to be yourself by design!
