Diy : painting my makeup storage

I was able to get two amazing cabinets for free because my job was throwing them in the trash. They needed a bit of work to go from what they were used for at work to what I am using them for. First I had to remove some of the shelving to make it fit makeup trays and then change the color. Getting the shelves out took some work. I ended up using a tool you used to cut branches off trees so I could break the shelf in have then remove the newly broken one. After I was done I had them in my room for awhile while I figured out what color I wanted. I decided I would paint them red then black wash them. So I got rustolum spray paint and covered it. Then took a mix of black acrylic paint and water and painted it on after letting the red dry for a day. I painted on my paint and water mix then took a rag and wiped most of it off but leaving some. I repeated the black washing a few times before I was happy with it. One of two came out a bit more darker but they both still look amazing.
