All things by design

I have deiced after throwing around the idea of making a Youtube channel. I already have one I made years ago and I have two videos posted on there. I made another one when I was all gun ho about becoming a beauty blogger. As I thought about it I came to the thought that there are so many people out there wanting to be beauty bloggers that I would be come lost in the mix. So I got rid of that channel. I almost got rid of this blog but I wanted to keep it and change what it is. Now this blog is Me a random blog that has anything and everything that I feel that I need to write about.  Yes, there will still be make up and fashion on here but it is not the only thing. I am going to make one video and post it and see what becomes of it. I know that I will not become famous over night and I am ok with it. I just want to be happy with what I am doing and not try to fit into something that may really fit how I am and who I want to be. Thanks to watching a few different youtube videos of people

As of right now I have deiced that I will only be working on two costumes because they will be very time consuming. They both have lots of fine details that I want to get as close to the character as possible. The two that I am working on are Queen Tara from Epic and Queen Elsa from Frozen. Seems like I am on a women of Power kick. Lol. It is just that I have fallen in love with these characters and want to really push my self in sewing. Now for the updates I have a wedding dress base that I am using for Queen Tara. I have cut it to fit me because the dress was way to small. I will now be possibly cutting more of it to grant me an easier way to get in and out of it. I am still working on how I want it to look. I have a design in mind for the petals of the bottom of her dress. I have a skirt pattern that I will be making a few layers to and cutting them as the petals. I will not be attaching it so far because I want to be able to use it again if I want it to be a part of another costume

This blog has not has the dedication I wanted it to have. I started out so strong but life has take ahold again. I keep saying I'm not writing this blog for anyone but me yet I'm hoping for someone to read it and post a comment. That is part of the reason I got rid of my YouTube channel. There are so many out there cons it's only by chance that so done would come upon mine. Maybe one day but not now. I still have a huge list of post to create I just need to do them. My new goal for this blog is to post on my days off but so far it has not happen.
