All things by design

2014 it has been grand! I have done so many things this year that I didn`t think I would do! I made a big step in my cosplaying skills! I did my first commission for someone! So many things have been happening in my life. I feel like this has been a good year for me. I can`t wait to continue to improve and move into bigger and great things in the new year to come! I finally made it to a Comic Con! While I was there I met Tom Felton and he was so nice! He was the first major famous person I have met! Really was a dream come true. I have learned so much about myself this year! I am still always improving. I am getting over a fear that has been affecting my life in so many ways. I am letting go of the things that have been holding be back and becoming the person I want to me. 2014 has been a year of leaps of faith on my part and I am so glad I did them. I have made many post and few of them have photos! I tend to take photos for the blog but I never end up posting them due to the fact I don`t like the way they look. I take my photos with my phone and I really  need to work on get more photos up on here. The ones I have are good and are steady improving as I am getting better at blogging. I am no way near some of the people I follow but they had to start at some point and improve. Goals of this blog is to have more pictures added to the post and get a new layout for it. I like what I have so far but I want to change the color up a bit. As I have said before this blog is a work in progress. I have no real experiences in making layouts for blogs and things. hmmmm... Idea I can see if a friend of mine can make me a layout  for here!  I really need to set up a place to take photos of products and other things. Oh I got a selfie stick! Another cosplay post! I am working on a special costume for a event I was asked to be a part of. I am making Princess Tiana from Princess and the Frog. I have wanted to make her lily pad dress since I first saw the movie. I wanted to make it from scratch but due to the nearness of the event  I am taking a chance by making it from formal dresses. I ordered them off of amazon. I am not doing much to the formal dress in ivory. I plan to hand stitch on beads to take make the shape of the petals of the under dress. To the slip of the ivory dress I attached a yellow skirt to it. When I started  I cut out the out crinoline that came with the dress off because I am using a wedding dress petticoat. Now as I am working on it I am going to glue it back to the slip. So that I have more fluff to the skirt. While I am working on the petals on the green dress. I have cut it and my petals did not turn out the way I wanted but I hope it will look good in the end. I am very exited how it will turn out i

So I have been talking about making videos on YouTube but I have made two videos. They are far and in between. There so much that goes along allowing your self be apart of that arena. I think that having blog is a better thing for me at this time. I am pretty sure it is close to having the public in your life as it is for YouTube. YouTube is a bit more in your face because people are seeing your face while a blog people are reading your words and seeing your photos. My life it busy and I am not truly set on being a part of YouTube. I don`t even post on here in a reliable fashion. I am trying to get a schedule that I can work with to make this blog work. I, myself am not that comfortable taking in front of a camera nor do I really have the set up to really do the videos. I have a webcam that I used in one of my videos but I wish to have my videos made with some natural light. So I will not be doing videos anytime soon. I may try to make videos again. On the other hand I may possibly do
