see ya 2020

This has been one hell of a year! Didn`t think it would end this way. My entire household has contracted covid and it's no joke. It has hit us all differently but I am thankful that we all are home together and not in the hospital. I have been blessed during this year I guess in the way that it was not a super bad one for me. I got to do something I had not had a chance to do. I also had come to some hard truths about my life. I gave up on school for the moment. I am working to be present in my accomplishments. I have three degrees to my name and while I am proud of that I am also finding myself to be lacking.  I work a retail job and am not even in a field of work that has anything to do with my form of study. 2020 has been leaving me asking myself why instead of is this the right path. I have spent much of 2020 in self-reflection and questioning each step I have taken that has brought me to this point. pretty sure it will be a whole new year and one more step close to anoth...

Welp.... its not get better

I told myself I would make my post to keep up with my thoughts during Covid but I have fallen behind. It`s still happening and the numbers keep growing and life is somewhat normal. Well, whatever normal is these days. I think we are quickly approaching another lockdown. In one way I am ready for it as I am worried but on the other hand, I am still trying to play catch up from the first one. I am trying to keep my outward thoughts positive. On the inside, I feel like I am drowning and I don't see a way out. I need a plan but it is finding out how far I am going to do and get it on paper. As for Covid the only thing I can do is do my best to make sure I am doing what I am supposed to be doing at work and my personal life.  But that is neither here nor there. I am going to commit myself to make more posts on this blog. I still feel this is just for me but who knows I could have readers that I don't know about. I am sure there are other bloggers that have too many blogs that are ...

Well shit ...

Dear readers, It seems like years but it has only been a few months. We all stood with high hopes for the year of 2020 now we are all ready for it to be over. Covid-19 is still running around like a mad man in the United States. My state’s cases are rising . I’m back at work but I’m still on edge. I heard a mask mandate was coming down the pipeline. To which I have no problems with! It has taken some getting used to but I’m used to wearing my mask when I leave. I tell myself when I want to complain if nurses can wear them for hours so can I. It takes a bit of time to retrain your breathing. Some days I’m good at it and others not so much. I have bought many fabric masks to wear so I can have a bit of fun. At work I don’t get to wear them which is fine. My job provides mask to wear so I’m grateful I do not have to supply my own. I’m amazed how many people don’t want to wear them. I get it but this is a global pandemic. You or I may be able to kick it and make it through but there ar...

COVID-19

This is our reality. Many all over the world it has hit hard and it is spreading like wildfire.  As I have said before I will be making these posts to update and keep a record of events that are happening. Many said that 2019 was one of the worst years ever. It turns out 2020 is giving it a run for its money. Many lives hang in the balance or have already been lost. It seems most of the world has shut down. It comes in waves of shelter in place. So many places have been on lockdown. Many are without work while others are working overtime as they are essential. To which they have always been but we never gave them their due. I have reached the point of uncertainty. I am not sure how long my job will keep paying me. I am not sure when I will go back to work. Unsure of when life will go back to what it was. I know it is forever changed. Nothing is the same and no one knows for sure what it will bring. I know my family and I are adapting as well as we can.  The days seem to ble...

This is 2020 Who lives, Who dies, Who tells your story.

Readers, Making a note of that is happing in our world. The world is being taken over by the force of COVID-19.  History has its eye on the world right now. I am making a note because maybe one day someone will look back at my post. Hell, I will look back possibly months from now. I have lived through what popular culture thought to be the end of the world twice. This is something that is rocking me to the core. Bit by bit the United States of America is going on lockdown.  There are many other places in the world that have been shut down to where no one can come in or leave the country. To which is very scary. We are all being told to stay home as much as possible. Many states are shutting down and telling their citizens to not leave. It is no longer being encouraged it is being demanded in some places. Schools have been canceled or sent online. Many of us are out of work.  Only one person in my house is still working, my sister. She is out like many others who are out...

Hello 2020

Readers,                 A new year has begun. Well, we are 14 days into the new year. This year I decied I wouldn't make any new years resoultions. For one every year I make them I don’t keep up with them.  My main excuses is that my birthday starts the new year so I`ll  start in Febuary. Then I will start them but I don’t hold myself true. I can say for years I have been saying I will keep up with this blog and it just happens little at a time. I tell myself I am going to really do my YouTube channel. I feel like it would be a fun outlet for me. As well as use this platorm for me to go into more detail if needed. So far I have started and stopped. Not happy with what I am putting out or unsure if anyone is really watching what I am making. I realized I should just do things for me. I have done many things in my years on this earth. If people want to supprort me they will and those who do not will not. It is a simple as that. Life is...

So you need to wear glasses?

Image
Finding out you need to wear glasses can be exciting for some and down right horrid for others! Some people just don't like wearing them and prefer to wear contacts or none at all. There are so many choices of places where you can buy your glasses. From shopping online to going to your local Eye doctor`s office. I , myself am a glasses wearer. When it is time for me to pick out a new pair. It is always such a hard thing for me. I just want them all. I am a huge fan of glasses. I tend to treat mine like an accessory to my outfits. I look at what I already own and what is the look I want to go for. I am a huge fan of retro looks and very unique glasses! There is so much more to just picking out your glasses. When you have your eye exam the doctor checks the health of your eyes. Making sure you get the right percription that fits your needs. I have not going online shopping for glasses  but many of my friends have with great sucess. I get my glasses from my job as I work in a eyeglass...
